The new DanceLine is up and running. NBCDS will be listed in the yellow pages under “Dance,” and the recorded message details all the upcoming NBCDS dances. Callers can press # to skip the rest of the recording and leave NBCDS a short message. This line makes information about our dances more accessible, especially for those without Internet access, and is made possible by membership subscriptions. (See below for how to become a member).
Please help support the organization that creates these great dance events by becoming a member! Dues help pay for you to receive a calendar, get you a listing in and a copy of the forthcoming members' directory, help cover overhead costs, and members receive a $1 discount to NBCDS and BACDS dances. Regular membership is just $18 (or $9 after July 1), which pays for itself even if you go to only one dance a month! Look for a membership form at any dance, or print out this on-line membership form (requires free Adobe Acrobat).
